Docked FormsWindow do not get their own "With block". They should!
SilkTest Recorder outputs a new "With / End With" block for each Window, FormsWindow or Dialog it encounters. This a great way to separate the chunk of code. Makes it easy to read the test script.
But it won't if the FormsWindow is docked inside another FormsWindow.
For example, this is what gets recorded right now if I click two buttons, first one inside the main FormsWindow and a second one inside a docked FormsWindow:
It would be much easier to read, maintain and debug if each FormsWindow had separate "With / End With" blocks:
By the way, this last example I hand created actually does work fine right now. SilkTest can play it back just fine. So the problem reside only in the way SilkTest Recorder outputs the code.
Just as a note, I got this response :
"We have reviewed this issue further and determine that this is more of an enhancement than a defect. Development will be reviewing this enhancement further."
