Add custom fields for issue statuses in Silk to map to JIRA
Currently SilkCentral does not allow to add custom fields for issue statuses in Silk to map to JIRA. It has the basic 5 statuses (Open, Fixed, Verified, Closed, Deffered). It would be very helpful if SilkCentral allows to add such as “In Progress”, “Ready for deployment”, “Failed” etc.

Silk Central has the 5 states which are then mapped to the appropriate states in the 3rd Party tooling.
Further review to add additional custom statuses will be looked at - however this would impact all out of the box reports.

We also need this feature to be implemented soon. We also use JIRA. For our testing purpose, we have to define custom issue statuses in JIRA. However, when we integrate JIRA with Silk, we realized we have to map 20 more JIRA statuses to 5 Silk issue statuses, and all statistic information in "Issues" unit turned out to be useless....

Can you describe the intention in more detail - what do you want to be able to do with these statuses then?
SC shows the external status (coming from the external system like Jira) on the issue tab. The internal status is used for reporting, filtering, etc.
